    Text banking allows you to conduct some routine banking activities through text messages — no need to even open an app. 1 With TCU text banking, you can:

    • Transfer money.
    • Receive weekly balance alerts.
    • Check your balance.
    • Receive large withdrawal notifications.
    • Review recent transactions.

Want to deposit or withdraw money while you’re out and about? Or talk to someone, face-to-face, about your accounts? With TCU, you have plenty of places to go.

    TCU is part of the CO-OP Shared Branch network, a group of credit unions with more than 5,600 branches spread throughout all 50 U.S. states.

    With a valid photo ID and your TCU account number, you can visit any CO-OP Shared Branch for various needs, including:

    • Deposits
    • Withdrawals
    • Transfers
    • Payments
    • Teller’s checks
    • Money orders

    Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, some Shared Branch locations are temporarily unavailable. After locating a branch, you may want to call before you visit, to confirm that it’s open.

    You can use your TCU debit card with thousands of ATMs in the MoneyPass, Accel, Mastercard/Cirrus and Alliance One networks, located throughout the U.S. and Puerto Rico. Depending on the account(s) you have — or how often you use an ATM — you may be able to avoid paying most or all usage fees.

Deposit options

TCU gives you several ways to deposit cash and checks into your accounts.

With our app

Using the ThriventCU mobile app, you can deposit a check by simply snapping and sending a photo of it. From the app’s lower menu, choose “Check Deposit.”

At an ATM

Not all ATMs accept deposits — but many do. To find one, use our ATM locator and, under Search Options, select only "Deposit-Taking ATMs."

Remember: Endorse checks before you deposit them, and save your ATM receipts.

At a branch

You may deposit funds at any CO-OP Shared Branch.

Be sure to bring a valid photo ID and your TCU account number.

Print deposit slips

You must include a deposit slip. You may print them from your computer or, if you’d like us to send you deposit slips and envelopes, call 866-226-5225.
