Christine A. Cousineau

President & CEO
Thrivent Credit Union

Christine Cousineau was appointed President and CEO of Thrivent Credit Union effective July 3, 2020. In this role, she oversees the credit union and has overall leadership and profit and loss responsibility for all credit union functions. Christine is responsible for developing organizational strategies and ensuring their successful execution. Christine also serves as a director on the Thrivent Credit Union board.

Christine served as the CFO followed by COO of Thrivent Financial Bank and then Thrivent Federal Credit Union from 2007-2020. Prior to this role she was responsible for integrating Thrivent Financial Bank's strategy with the recently merged parent company (Thrivent).

Before joining the bank, Christine worked for Thrivent to help leadership establish and execute corporate strategy and measurement and to successfully merge Aid Association for Lutherans (AAL) and Lutheran Brotherhood. Christine has also worked in finance, audit and strategic planning roles for Secura Insurance, Grant Thornton and Spurlock, Runyan, Miller & Associates.

Christine holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and has a CPA designation. She serves on the board of directors for the Hope Clinic & Care Center.

Christine and her husband, Bill, have three children and live in Kaukauna, WI. They are currently members of Appleton Alliance Church in Appleton, Wisconsin.
